Hi, i'm wondering what the best way is to build a eg farm?
Build a tall structure with cheap material, preferred material to use is stone brick. then place eg spawners in the middle, put ice from one end onto the other end above the hoppers, and to make sure the emeralds don't burn up, place a ceiling over the lava held in by signs, as egs can pass through signs. Then, route the hoppers to a single chest so everything ends up in one chest. However, if you're rich and have a lot of spawners, you might want to use multiple chests.
You can go to /is warp DarkMc_YT and go through the nether to see how his EG farm works. Also it doesn't have to be in the nether but if you want more emeralds you can do it in the nether
there is no best. i tend to do biggest will do.
Lucky for you there is a tutorial on the forums on how to create an EG farm! Here's the link to the thread with the youtube video on how to create one:
Its why we have the beautiful /wiki command
There you go: https://minecraft.good-gaming.com/wiki/page/How_to_create_an_Emerald_Giant_Grinder
there is a post on the wiki about it, there is no definitive "best" way to build one
People keep saying if you want more emeralds build your eg in the Nether?
Is this true?
