Hey everybody! With the recent release of Minecraft 1.13 we've taken some extra time to do a nice wave of updates while adding support for the new version. Here's the list: ► On Development As many of you know, Good Gaming works very hard to be one of the few networks in Minecraft that strives for truly entertaining and fair gameplay for all, and we know there are a lot of ways to improve on that. We want to put out updates as much as you guys want to see them, so that's why I want to dedicate a section of this update notes to talk about how donating can help us to put out bigger, better, and faster updates for all of our servers at the same time. For the price a video game typically costs, you can buy our Elite rank, or for the equivalent of only a couple of dollars a week, our GG Memberships are always an option, where you'll receive access to things like our network-wide sub chat to chat with anyone across all servers, including myself. With your support we can continue to fund server costs and find great developers who can make GG the BMSOAT (Best Minecraft Server Of All Time) Thanks to everyone who has already shown their support! ► 1.13 Support Our network finally supports joins from players using Minecraft 1.13! 1.13 has been one of the most difficult versions of Minecraft to add support for to date, and there will be bugs. 1.8.9 is our official recommended version, but if you do decide to play on 1.13, be sure to report any issues you find! ► Lobby Mini-Revamp This week, I have taken some extra time to make some important changes to our lobby in order to give everyone a better front end experience on the servers. Hotbars and GUIs We've tidied up the hotbar and the menus in the lobbies to hopefully make things a bit prettier and easier to navigate, especially for new players. Removed Servers As a part of this tidying, we've went ahead and removed most of the "Coming Soon" NPC's, as well as our servers that didn't really see much play like SkyWars. We plan to make the home for our mini-games on Minecade with much higher quality! Cosmetics Most of the Cosmetics from our Cosmetics crates are now available to be worn in the lobby. ► Prison Updates Prison has received another substantial technical update this week, full of bug fixes, performance improvements, and buffs/nerfs! Let's take a look: Performance Yet another wave of performance updates revolving around backpacks and a few other features has come in. Even less server lag, yay! Miner Unsocketing! Finally, unsocketing your Miner gems is now possible. Simply visit the Enchantress and choose the unsocketing option like normal, and your Miner gems will now be available in the menu! Upgrade Max The mining enchants in the /ecoins menu now have an "upgrade max" option. The option will show you the total amount of levels of an enchant you can afford to buy, up to the max of the enchant. Shift + right click to confirm. Bug Fixes Patched some lesser known ways of obtaining Smite on picks. Fixed an issue that caused blocks broken to go negative once surpassing 2.1 billion. A number of smaller patches to improve server consistency. Balance Adjustments Gem Effectiveness reductions now apply to Miner Reduction gems, reducing the timer for miners to as low as three seconds! However, you may only place a gem on one side of each set of Miners, i.e. if you socket a gem on Diamond, you won't be able to socket onto Dragon. If you socket onto Iron, you won't be able to socket onto Elder. Any gems breaking these new rules will be automatically returned to you for free when you login. Miner Multiplier buff: 0.1% multi per level -> 0.25% multi per level AutoSell (at 100% cooldown reduction) buff: 100ms per AS (2 ticks) -> 50ms per AS (1 tick) Reroll balancing (this came after the initial update): The Enchantress will now grant better rerolls to higher level gems compared to lower level gems. This is a nerf to rerolling level 1 gems and can be a huge buff depending on how high level the gem you are rerolling is. As an aside to this, the Enchantress is also now much more likely to give you a higher level version of the gem you are re-rolling rather than a completely random gem. However, this effect only applies to gems that don't have a level cap. OPGG withdraw limit: 2.5Q -> 2.5QQ OPGG shop limit formula: Prestige^2 * 1Q -> Prestige^3 * 1QQ (AKA over 3S at P150) ► Other (noteworthy) Updates As the last part of our update, we've issued a lot of network-wide bug fixes and performance improvements as well. Here's a quick bullet list of everything you might need to know about: Resolved an issue with the ArmorStand disguise crashing some players. You should now be able to use the ArmorStand cosmetic safely! Shameless plug. Fixed Balloons sticking around in the world after reboots. Patched the /minipets command - you can once again run around with your adorable minis! Fixed an issue causing /keys and /crate claim to break for some players. Reworked and re-enabled the /dlink command. Be on the look out for bugs! That's all folks! Hopefully this will be our final update notes before we're ready to enter donor-testing phase for SkyBlock Seasons! And as always, let us know your feedback in the responses below!
Good Job!! I am so excited For The 1.13!!!! From day to day ggmc only get better and better!! I am proud of all of you
Well done! Even with only a few developers, you guys have made awesome updates. Hard work appreciated. ❤
I like finally being able to max out pickaxes without having to click so much. I think it would be cool if there were something like that but for backpacks.
